Jargon is easy to write, but it is hard to fall in love with. I specialise in getting to the heart of your message, and in making sure that message hits the heart of the reader.
I have more than twenty years of professional writing under my belt. I’ve written speeches, web copy, social media content, direct mail pieces, posters, press ads, press releases, radio and TV spots, emails. I’ve even written a few poems (no, you can’t read them).
I have experience in a wide range of settings — from consumer catalogs, an academic press and an award-winning creative agency to a major hospital, a prominent global development charity and no fewer than three different universities. I have worked in both the US and the UK, bringing to every role my strong belief that good writing should be a central part of any organisation’s mission. If people don’t understand what you do, or if they don’t care, then why are you doing it?
